This is based on nest location, nest located at ground level and with easier access will cost less than one located in the roof space. 

We can guarantee the treatment and this is reflected in the cost. Nests that can be easily accessed can more often than not be dealt with in one visit. If we can't get to the nest we will treat the entrance and if needed will return but the cost is a little more to cover this.

The worker wasps will die off eventually at the end of summer early Autumn but the queen will lay eggs for new Queens which will hibernate for the winter and make new nests next spring. To lower the risk of more nests the following year it is best to have the nest destroyed.

It is never advisable to treat or remove a wasp nest yourself, especially once it is well established as they will attack extremely quickly and many stings within seconds can be dangerous and sometimes fatal.
